Kamela Jessup, LMT
Kamela Jessup is passionate about helping people rid their bodies of toxins so their bodies can function optimally. Kamela Jessup started her healing pathway as an esthetician from Artistic Beauty College in 2003 doing custom facials, chemical peels, body wraps, hot stone, deep tissue and Swedish massages as well as aromatherapy. From here, Kamela decided her gifts were predominant in massage therapy, and completed the Masters Massage program at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts.
Her massage techniques include manual lymphatic drainage and deep abdominal work. Her therapeutic treatments stimulate and assist the body in circulation to achieve optimal health, with lymphatic drainage therapy; to aid the cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal system’s drainage of toxic buildup and calcification. Together, these treatments have been known to treat autoimmune diseases such as Crohn’s disease, IBS, sluggish digestive issues, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lyme disease, Fibromyalgia, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Treatments are also used to help prevent and reduce the risks of various types of cancers, cysts, allergies, chronic sinus issues and headaches. Kamela is in-tune with moving fluid that helps decrease inflammation, which in turn decreases pain.
Her abilities in lymph massage help facilitate drainage of toxic build-up that can help patients fight off and keep disease processes from developing. Kamela works closely with the physicians at Chambers Clinic to determine the best therapeutic plan of treatment for each patient.
Initially, Kamela found her inspiration from helping family members by touch and massage at a very early age. Kamela is from Indiana and spent most of her time in Page and Lake Powell growing up as a teenager here in Arizona. She loves playing with her children, grandchildren, hiking, kayaking, and continuing her healing abilities to help people.
