HCG Diet

Conditions

The HCG diet may be for you if you are having trouble losing weight or even just shedding those last few pounds. Oftentimes a person that continuously exercises and eats healthy may for some reason, still have trouble losing weight. You may not understand why you’re not losing weight, or why you are not able to get rid of these few extra pounds. The HCG Diet will help to address imbalances in metabolism and restore the body’s optimum ability to balance its hormones naturally.

This unique combination of a low caloric diet and HCG (a naturally occurring hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) result in decreased complaints of hunger, fatigue and moodiness, common side-effects in many other diets.  The addition of HCG appears to promote the breakdown of fat in those stubborn areas that have been out of reach for years.

Treatment

The HCG diet consists of a low calorie doctor-supervised diet program which incorporates a naturally occurring hormone called HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin.)  This fat breakdown can produce up to 1500 calories per day so you can get through your day without feeling hungry or tired.

The HCG diet can often times promote incredible weight loss – up to 30 pounds in one month.  The HCG diet has been around for decades. It is a short duration program with a treatment time of between 23 and 40 days. The diet is strict and limits you to specific foods. There is a small injection the patient self-administers daily during their time on the diet. Each week the patient is weighed and provided with additional support if needed. If it’s necessary for additional weight loss, the patient may be prescribed further rounds of HCG. In order to avoid immunity to the effects of the HCG solution, patients must take “maintenance time” between rounds.

Remember that long term weight maintenance involves permanent lifestyle changes. It’s important continue a diet that consists of natural foods found on this planet, such as fruits, vegetables, seeds and animal protein, while decreasing your intake of processed foods (anything that comes in a package or box). If you are able to successfully achieve this, you will not only see sustained weight maintenance but you’ll attain an overall increased sense of wellbeing.
