Medical Marijuana Certification

Chambers Clinic can recommend medical cannabis in Arizona for patients with qualifying debilitating conditions such as cancer, MS and Chrohn’s disease

What is medical marijuana (cannabis) certification?

Medical cannabis as recommended by a licensed doctor is legal and well- regulated in Arizona for certain debilitating medical conditions. Naturopathic medical doctors are among those who can evaluate patients and recommend medical marijuana as a treatment option. Recreational marijuana use in Arizona is not legal.

How does the process work?

A medical cannabis patient must be evaluated in person and obtain a written certification from a physician with whom he or she has a physician-patient relationship. A qualifying patient must be diagnosed with a debilitating medical condition as outlined by Arizona Revised Statute 36-2801, Section 3(a). After obtaining the written certification from the physician, the qualifying patient can apply online for a registry identification card. A patient cannot enter any medical cannabis dispensary in the state without his or her registry card.
